Having weathered the storm [link] , Dun checks the charts and gets his bearings again. The treasure is nearly in his grasp!
I really needed to draw a familiar subject before I continue on my secret project, just to get comfortable drawing again, it's been so long. I tried a little different method of shading this time. It's almost too soft maybe. A single soft candle for a light source on one side, and the harsh moon on the other made for a challenge. It was fun playing with the shadowing. I think the pose is a wee bit stiff too, but I'm not sure what to have done about that. Edit - Added some fur texture to the fur. I'm not exactly sure I like how it turned out though. |

I like the night scene. The light from the moon is easy to see appart from the candle's glow. Over all a good picture, and I think the feeling you were trying to put into it was successful.

Dun dun DUUUNNNNN!
Heh, I like the expression on his face. Very concentrated. (Just one nose makes three faces!)

Thats the problem with the world today; intelligence is constant, and the populations increasing.
