Artist's Comments

Some rarer colored insulators. Insulators can come in nice colors for several of reasons. One, the company that made them made other glass products, and also made insulators with the same glass batch. Two, some insulators were a special color for marking a particular line. Three, cullet (used glass) was used in the manufacture. Backlit in a display cabinet.

I read that you collect insulators too!! what a coincidence! i have some items in double if you're interested... but i live in france...

Those are all "Hemingray" or HGCO, and date from around 1900-1910. I would be interested in some trades if you have doubles :)
